Dear Readers, i spontaneously decided to hook up with AndiZant & Ken Mutant ambient-sound and will play my yellow Accordion to it. I want to invite you all to our Wide Scope Experimental night on Monday at Tacheles from 9pm. This time the line up is very strong, with TheresaMountain (dirty rock) and Transcoded Into Action (noise) playing as well as some regulars like SekuriT (crocodile set) and AndiZant. The artists are all playing for free!

AND on Tuesday at 1730 there is a demonstration in front of the Rat House at Alexanderplatz for Tacheles. The court date of June 20 is coming lose, and things aren’t looking good, so it would be nice to see you there. It’s the night the Berlin mayor host’s his corporate sponsored party so it will be nice to make a scene. More info about that below

Tacheles-Kundgebung vor Rotem Rathaus zu Berlin

Am Di. 12 Juni 2012 – 17:30 findet die Tacheles Kundgebung vor dem Roten Rathaus zu Berlin statt. Anlässlich des Hoffestes des Regierenden Bürgermeisters tragen wir unseren Protest vor. Kunst, Information und geselliges Demonstrieren sind unser Politikfest. Dazu brauchen wir auch keine Sponsoren, die sich unsere Gunst erkaufen wollen oder müssen. Herr Wowereit jetzt wird Tacheles geredet, gemeinsam mit anderen engagierten Bürgern wollen wir ein Zeichen für Berlin und gegen Ausverkauf und Günstlingswirtschaft setzen.

Tacheles bleibt und das nicht als billige Marktkopie seiner selbst, und der Kultursenator hat dies zu unterstützen. Gerade Berlin braucht selbstorganisierte Kunst- und Kulturräume und das in Mitte. Laut Staatssekretär Schmitz will der Investor nichts mit Künstlern zu tun haben. Ein Investor den es noch gar nicht geben darf, laut Zwangsversteigerungsbestimmungen.

Herr Bürgermeister beenden Sie diesen Filz jetzt, der finanzielle und Imageschaden für Berlin ist unabsehbar.

Wir retten Berlin – wir retten die kreative Mitte der Stadt – Kunsthaus Tacheles und zeitgenössische Kunst hat einen Namen.

Der Berliner Filz muss hier enden, am 03.01.2012 hatten die Vertreter des Tacheles eine Termin beim Kulturstaatssekretär Schmitz, bei diesem Treffen sprach der Herr Sekretär über den Investor (Zitat:)”den wir alle kennen aber dessen Namen wir nicht nennen dürfen”. Alle Anwesenden wussten sofort, Harm Müller Spreer ist “der, der nicht genannt werden darf”. Der Herr Sekretär versicherte uns, er werde sich bei seinem nächsten Barbesuch im Beisein dessen, dessen Namen nicht genant werden darf, für uns Künstler verwenden – und nie wieder ward gehört von Sekretär oder Diener (Sprecher).

Diese unerträglichen politischen Zustände müssen wir gemeinsam beenden, für einen RUNDEN TISCH ZUM TACHELES unter Teilnahme des Landes Berlin, für eine Rückabwicklung des Geschäftes am Tacheles, für Mieten ohne Renditediktatur, für eine menschliche Politik – gegen dunkle Hinterzimmer-absprachen, lustlose Politiker und Halbwahrheiten verbreitende Sekretäre und ihre Diener.

Tacheles demonstration in front of the Rotes Rathaus in Berlin

(inside stays the king – outside stay the people)

The Tacheles demonstration in front of the Rotes Rathaus will take place on the 12th June 2012 at 5:30pm. Our protest will be carried out in occasion of the yearly party that the current Mayor of Berlin will throw for his friends. Art, information and participative demonstration will be our engaged party. We do not need any sponsor wanting or having to buy our favor. Mr. Wowereit will hear it clearly this time: together with you engaged citizens we want to set the example against wild sale and favoritism.

Tacheles stays and not as market copy of itself and this is something that the Senator for Culture has to support. Berlin just needs self-organized arts and cultural facilities and spaces and it needs them right in Berlin Mitte. According to State Secretary Schmitz the investor has nothing to do with artists and it is not even possible to disclosure his identity according to the relevant regulations.

Mr. Mayor, you should stop this now, the finances and image damage for Berlin is incalculable.

COME EVERYBODY, JOIN AND HELP US SHOUTING A SIGN OF DEMOCRACY IN OCCASION OF THE MAYOR’S YEARLY CELEBRATIONS.

We save Berlin, we save the creative Mitte of our city, we save Kunsthaus Tacheles, we save contemporary art.

The Berlin shame must end here. On 01st March 2012, the representatives of Tacheles met on appointment the Culture State Secretary Schmitz. On that occasion Mr. Shmitz said the following about the investor: “we all know who he is, but we cannot mention his name.” Everyone present knew immediately that Harm Müller Spreer is the name that “cannot be mentioned”. The Secretary told us that he would have a drink in the following days with this top secret name person and we never again heard anything from the Secretary or his speakers.

Together we have to make these intolerable political conditions stop. This situation must end in favor of a ROUND TABLE ON TACHELES with the participation of the City of Berlin, of a reversal of the sale transactions concerning Tacheles, of rents trends which are not governed by the dictatorship of returns, for human policies and against backroom agreements, unmotivated politicians and not sincere once.
