musste in seinem Leben nur einmal an Krücken gehen. Abgesehen davon, dass er mit einem nutzlosen Fuss umgehen musste, mochte er es irgendwie. Seinen Blick auf die Stadt und ihren Verkehr hat sich geändert: Alles war für ihn langsamer. Ein kontinuierlicher Fluss des Lebens, der in seine Stadt gekommen war. Es fühlte sich friedlich an. Rinus bewegte sich in einem Tempo von etwa 176,4 Meter pro Stunde vorwärts. Die Erde dreht sich etwa zehntausend mal schneller. Rinus van Alebeek arbeitet mit Magnet-Tapes, die er in dieser gemütlichen Geschwindigkeit über den Tonkopf gleiten lässt. Für seine Performance zeichnet er eigentümliche Klänge auf. Je nach Beschaffenheit und Zustand der Abspielgeräte verändert sich der Klang der Aufnahmen. Intuitiv hören wir andere Geräusche, assoziieren wir die Sounds mit eigenen Bildern im Kopf und tauchen in die kreisenden Bewegungen der Bänder ein. Bei soviel Liebe zum Magnetband erstaunt es einen nicht, dass Rinus auch das legendäre Tape-Label Staaltape betreibt.

spielt meistens mit Instrumenten der Marke Eigenbau und darüber hinaus lässt er sich vor Ort inspirieren und baut nicht selten ein Stück Architektur in seiner Performance mit ein. Mit seiner Musik und Klängen provoziert er den Homo Ludens immer wieder aufs neue. Nimmst du ernst was er tut oder kaspert er nur ernsthaft herum?

Dort wird experimentiert! Da passen meine sounds auf jedenfall dazu. Die Industrie Halle hat einen wunderschönen Klang. Die Maschinen warten nur darauf ihren Alten Klang, Bzw ihren eigenen Klang wieder zu finden da(sa).

Die letzte Monate vom Güterbahnhof werden voller Action sein.
Das ist schonmal ein besonderes Konzert. Ich hab hier ein kleiner Ausschnitt:

Rheinzeitung on Klangkunst in Mainz

Der Klangkunst-Masterstudent aus der Klasse Prof. Peter Kiefer ist der erste Künstler, der in diese Exzellenzförderung aufgenommen wurde. Kaspar König bezeichnet sich als Künstler, Designer, Musiker, Komponist, Erfinder und Lehrer, was seine vielfältigen künstlerischen Aktivitäten gut umschreibt. Er tritt als Musiker mit der Bratsche auf und verwendet dabei Liveelektronik und auch selbstgebaute Instrumente und produzierte bereits mehrere CDs und Videos. „Waiting in the Wings“ is een performance-festival dat tweejaarlijks plaatsvindt in de ARM >> Artspace Rondeel Maastricht.
Op 2, 3 en 4 oktober wordt voor de tweede keer „Waiting in the Wings“ gepresenteerd met 30 verschillende Europese en lokale kunstenaars
zoals Harold Schellinx, Kaspar König, Ray Moon en Vasiliki Tsgkari.
„Waiting in the Wings“ is een experiment dat een expositie creëert om ogen en oren te openen. De bezoekers lopen door een live-installatie waarin sculpturen verhalen provoceren, schilderijen functioneren als enscenering en de performers veranderen in kunstwerken.
De bezoekers zijn fysiek betrokken en verbonden met de performers.

The Artists will slow down this car-free sunday in the center landmark of the city. And everybody (of all ages able to manage a bicycle) can participate with his/her own bike or one of our bikes. Try and win one of these prizes!
